Our Mission
Our mission is to reduce health inequalities and improve health and wellbeing in our local community in Dartford. We achieve this by delivering and facilitating projects that offer a range of opportunities for training, volunteering, social interaction and community engagement. Volunteers, who take an active role in the direction and delivery of our services, lead the majority of our projects.
Activities include cookery clubs, computer classes, a job club, art and craft sessions, English for Speakers of Other Languages, exercise sessions, a gardening club, a Men’s shed project and community and repair cafés.

Our History
Our growth over nearly 20 years from a small, local healthy living project serving one of the most disadvantaged communities in Dartford, to delivering an extensive portfolio of services and activities across the borough, has enabled us to develop a unique and acute knowledge of the challenges and barriers facing our local population. By supporting our communities to become stronger and more resilient, we have grown and become agile practitioners with a wealth of expertise and local knowledge.
Our Goals
- To deliver high-quality community-led services that improve health and wellbeing, particularly in the underrepresented communities within the borough.
- To provide a stable base for community engagement and development opportunities.
- To connect people to unused, surplus and underused land across the borough to grow food and develop a community farm.
